What we keep, and why.
- Who we are
- Boxyard is a trading name of Starlight Hub Limited (company no. 80788678), registered in Hong Kong.

- The details on your trade application (business name, your name, email, phone, Companies House number, trading address), your delivery address, and your orders.
- Why
- To decide trade applications, deliver orders, send invoices and keep the records a business must keep.
- Payments
- Card payments are taken on a page run by Airwallex. Card details go straight to Airwallex and never reach this website. Bank transfers arrive in our business account at Wise Payments Limited; we see the payer name, amount and reference.
- Passwords
- A password is optional. If you set one we keep only a scrambled form of it (a salted scrypt hash), which cannot be turned back into your password. Nobody at Boxyard can see it.
- Cookies
- One essential cookie keeps you logged in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
- We email login codes, invoices and order updates. We don't send marketing without asking first.
- Back-in-stock emails
- If you ask the shop to tell you when a sold-out product is back, we keep your email address with that product, send you one email when it returns, and delete the address as soon as that email has gone. If it never returns, the address is deleted after a year. It is not added to any mailing list.
- Phone notifications
- If you allow notifications on a device, we keep that device's push address with your login so we can send the alerts you asked for. Turning notifications off on that device deletes it. We don't use it for anything else.
- Your rights
- Ask us at any time for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion where the law allows it.
