Shop terms.

These terms cover purchases from the Boxyard shop at boxyard.net/shop by consumers. Trade purchases have their own trade terms.

Your order

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it, and a contract is formed, when we email you that the order is confirmed or paid. We can decline an order before then, for example if an item is no longer available or a price was shown wrongly; anything you have paid is refunded in full.

Prices

Prices are in pounds sterling and are the price you pay; delivery is shown separately before you place the order. Prices can change, but not for an order already placed.

Paying

Bank transfer: the order is held for you until the pay-by time shown on your order; an order still unpaid then may be cancelled and the stock released.

Delivery

UK addresses only, by tracked service (Royal Mail or DPD). Orders paid before 1pm UK time on a working day are dispatched that day and usually arrive within 1–2 working days of dispatch. Delivery times are estimates. The goods are your responsibility once delivered to the address you gave; ownership passes when we have been paid in full.

Changing your mind

As a consumer you can cancel for any reason within 14 days of receiving your order, by emailing us or using the form below, and then return the goods within a further 14 days. Return postage is yours to pay unless the goods are faulty. We refund within 14 days of getting the goods back, less any loss in value from handling beyond what a shop would allow. Sealed trading card products that have been opened cannot be returned under this right, because their value lies in being sealed.

Faulty or wrong items

If something arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, tell us within 30 days and we refund or replace it, including return postage. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by anything here.

Products

Trading card products are the Simplified Chinese printings unless stated otherwise, sold factory sealed. Pack contents are random; we do not guarantee any particular card.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales (or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, there).
